Happy Holidays Part 2.
This month our family
went to the Great Wolf Lodge. We went there with our friends named Alex
and Arthur. I liked this trip especially
compared to other hotels. It had a lot of water, and I love water.
Sometimes water lets you relax, like a warm bath tub. It could also let
you feel excited, hyper, and maybe a little nervous, especially right
before you go down a water slide. So let me remember what the trip was
like again… Oh’ right, so we went there with our friends, and we got so
excited that we ran off toward our rooms. Unfortunately our parents were
the ones to have the key to the door, so we waited a long time. The
parents (My parents and my friend’s parents who is also my mom’s friend)
walked slowly, chatting with each other as if they did not even know us.
It felt like a billion years. (It was more like 30 seconds). Then
taking… Okay so when we got to the indoor water park, we kind of just
hung out in the pool where the waves occasionally came. We were kind of
scared of doing anything else.
Then I got the nerves to get on the small slides. Unfortunately right
when I was going through the obstacles, the huge bucket of water just
poured all over me. I hoped it would not spill, but like always, my
wishes never become true. It got all over me when I was waiting in line.
I was behind a lot of people. It spilled on me a third time. By now I
was thinking it was actually kind of fun. When I went down the slide I
really like how it twisted left and then right again. I kept on doing
it. I did eventually did get board. Great wolf lodge has two huge
slides. One was the Howling Tornado. I was not especially excited to go
on that one. In fact I never did! The person in front of us on line told
us that the slide we were going to get on( Howling Tornado) was fast and
had a 10 feet drop and in the end there was a toilet or a digester which
makes you go around in circles and circles. So my little brother and my
Dad and
I switched lines because we did not want to experience the things that
we were told about. The other slide was called River Canyon Run. Now
this one was really fun for my little brother and me and… nope, my dad
did not especially like it. My little brother and I went down that slide
for a billion more times with our friends. There was one more slide that
was kind of big, and this one we were only aloud to have two people or
less. Of course not none though! That one was fast but it was really
fun. I figured that if I wanted to be surprised with the turns and when
they happen then I could look at the ceiling of the slide. The food
there was also really great. I liked the buffet down at the lobby
especially. I think I ate too much because I could barely get out of my
chair when I was done. We bought a souvenir. It was one of those things
where you put rocks that you like into a bag. Later that day when we
watched a show there, it snowed inside! It was really just soap but it
was fun to just get soap all over your hair. Wow! That was all one day!
After we had a good night sleep, we played in the water a little more,
and then we played a game they had their called Magic's Quest. We went
around opening treasure chests with our Magic wands and we had to find
certain objects. My leg got soar very quickly, so I couldn’t finish the
game. Then it was time to go home. So we packed all of the stuff that we
brought and then checked if we were missing anything, and then we said
good bye to each other.

This month my
basketball season started so far my team only won one game but my
brother’s team only lost one game. This month our friends and us went to
Lewis Creek Park to see a movie about baby animals,
after
the movie we went to walk around the park because the park was huge we
only walked a little bit when we finished we decided to play a small
game of tag on the small play ground. This month my Lego club ended. We
had a huge party. The best part of the party was the orange juice.
The best part of this month was when we got to go to Great
Wolf lodge it was a water park. When we got there we got to jump in the
pool right away. The last day we and our friends decided to play a magic
quest game. The game goes on by accomplishing different tasks. We did
this for more than two hours so it eventually became bored so we decided
to go home.
This Month my brother and me had a chess tournament. In the
tournament I had to play a grade up because if I played in that grade I
would crush everybody. Surprisingly in my section I got 4th place and my
brother got 2nd place.
This month was my favorite month because of Christmas. My
favorite thing I got for Christmas was a hokey table.
This month brightened my spirits all because of Christmas.
